Started Fishing for carp more then 20 years ago in Germany. I fished for many years for carp over there. 

While moving to the USA I stopped fishing for a good 8 years. My kids eventually negged me enough so I did go fishing with them and was within days to full throttle carp fishing. 

Having made such a jump in time, many things changed. The biggest change is the social media hype for who has the biggest fish, everyone does video these days, drones are available and especially in Europe the average weight of carp did go up tremendously, besides there being a lot more carp angler as there used to be.

Having been a forum moderator back then, I decided after checking most resources in Germany, UK and USA to create this forum, as I still think social media can't replace a proper forum, while they actually complete each other. Many other groups and hobbyists still use forums, so there it is- a specialist carp-angler forum for everyone around the world.
